M.A.S.K Operator

Welcome underground, mechanics.

Your squad has been deployed to restore power to an infrasonic tower. Class C insectoid entities have overrun the generator tunnels. The environment is unstable, unlit, and hostile. The caves are pitch black. Visibility is provided by your M.A.S.K. Helmet — Mechanics Assist & Surveillance Kit. The helmet cycles through tactical filters operated remotely by your squad operator: 

- Red filter: highlights hostile entities and ammunition. 
- Green filter: displays health status and supply pickups. 
- Blue filter: tracks allied mechanics and reveals the minimap. 
- Purple markers: indicate mission objectives. 

You are equipped with an Enhanced Riflegun for defense and crowd control. Use it wisely. Ammunition is limited. Your operator will maintain constant communication, switching helmet modes as situations evolve, guiding the squad, and coordinating movements toward the objective. However, interference and tunnel layouts may cause you to lose visual contact with your teammates. 

Stay alert. Stay together when possible. Reach the generator. Repair it. Restore the tower. 

Remember: betrayal is punishable by death.
